A wealth of genealogical information. The sexton lists his charges for about 200 funerals, usually for "digging a grave and ringing the bells." The date of the funeral and name of the deceased are given; some of the later entries also list the age of the deceased. Many of the names listed here can be found among the gravestones at Park Street Cemetery belonging to the First Congregational Parish of West Springfield.
